Most of us Americans love a good Thanksgiving Day spread -- we all have our favorites, whether it's the turkey and dressing (or is is stuffing?), the special macaroni and cheese your aunt makes only once a year, or the ubiquitous green bean casserole that is only acceptable on Thanksgiving Day.
Meanwhile, more and more, we're opting for Friendsgiving events to celebrate the day with our chosen best of the best! Mix it up this year - save the mashed potatoes for that special Thursday and offer this fantastic brunch menu instead! While I'm at it, let's talk about why we're gathering in the first place -- it's so much more important to provide a comfortable place than it is to provide fancy food. Your friends love YOU not what you serve.
That being said, no brunch is complete without memorable hot drinks. Our November tea of the month, Chestnut Truffle black tea is unique and delicious! It evokes all the cozy feelings of roasting chestnuts on an open fire. With just a little added sweetener, this nutty, richly-flavored tea is sure to please even those "I'm not a tea person" guests! However, some of your guests may need a little stronger jolt - and for that, we love to recommend our friends at Little River Coffee Company from Townsend, TN. They serve up a rich, sweet medium roast called " Muir Approved Honey Wash ." To be honest, LRCCoffee is the only brewed coffee I'll drink and it's the only coffee I recommend; period.

- Croissants - not crescent rolls. This part has to be right: get the real-deal, buttery, flaky pastry
- Cranberry jelly and apple butter (We happen to have a beautiful recipe for the latter.)

- An egg-based entree (make your favorite breakfast casserole or purchase pre-made quiche)
- Pumpkin pie or sweet potato pie, with optional freshly-prepared Chai Spiced Whipped Cream
