Go Big Orange - iced latte, that is
It’s hot outside - and yet, there are those of us who are already longing for fall! Satisfy your fall cravings while you cool down with our Orange Chai Iced Latte, which features Jackson Avenue Tea’s Orange Chai black tea, known locally as “Go Big Orange” tea. You can use either dairy milk or non-dairy milk to suit your lifestyle.
Ingredients
- 3 heaping tsp of Orange Chai black tea
- ½ cup hot water + ½ cup cold water
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 3 cups ice, divided if desired
- 2 cups milk, divided if desired
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
- Grated, fresh nutmeg for garnish (optional)
- Orange slices (1 or 2 - optional, for garnish)
* Makes 2 large drinks or 1 giant drink

HOW-TO
- Brew 3 heaping tsp Orange Chai black tea in ½ cup hot water (200°F) for 4 minutes using your favorite brewing device (IngenuiTea, disposable tea bag, or stainless filter).
- (If using IngenuiTea, dispense into a mug) Stir 2 tsp granulated sugar into the hot tea until it’s thoroughly dissolved.
- Add ½ cup of ice cold water to bring down the temperature of your tea.
- Prepare 2 large glasses each with 1 ½ cup ice and 1 cup milk OR fill your favorite 30 oz stainless tumbler with 3 cups ice and 2 cups milk
- Add tea to the milk and ice.
- (optional) Top with whipped cream and fresh, grated nutmeg if desired. And/or garnish with a slice of orange.
JAZZ IT UP!
Substitute ½ cup ice cold orange juice for ½ cup ice water.
Go Crazy! Make it a float!
Jazz it up (see above) then substitute 4 generous ice cream scoops for the ice and milk
