Genmai Cha tea from Japan celebrates a time in history when green tea was scarce and farmers blended malty popped rice into their green tea to “stretch” their tea stores. We’ve added a note of whimsy - inclusions of pieces of popped corn that impart their own, familiar starchy aroma and flavor. 

The warm, nutty flavor of Genmai Cha pairs well with many different foods, and the presence of popped rice provides a substantial, yet decidedly less astringent mouthfeel, excellent for even the most casual green tea drinker.

We do not, our teas are available for purchase either online or at local retailers in East Tennessee. Many of our local retail partners also serve our tea hot or cold!

We source our tea from reputable and consistent wholesalers from all over the world. Tea does not grow in our East Tennessee climate.
