This tea comes from the Korakundah estate in the Nilgiri region of India. We believe this tea is best appreciated hot. You’ll notice honey-like aromas and flavors, complemented by a slightly fruity sweet flavor with lightly nutty undertones.Â
If you’re looking for a milder black tea, this is a lovely, less astringent variety. We’ve even heard of brewing a blend of this milder tea with stronger teas, like Assam or Ceylon, for a smooth yet bold tea - especially suited for serving chilled, over ice. You’ll note richer depths of flavor if you add a bit of your favorite sweetener.
