Whole leaf pu ehr tea

For Peak Enjoyment

Pu ehr teas can be brewed anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes – flavor notes will be different with longer brewing times but you’ll never experience any bitterness from “overbrewing.”

Organic Pu-erh tea is one of the most popular drinks in China, prized for its antioxidants and vitamins. Pu ehr tea is fermented, often in caves, to produce a dark liquor that's earthy yet sweet, with a smooth finish. Pu ehr is its own category of tea: the fermentation process creates a deep, rich flavor; yet its smoothness is unmatched by the other types of tea.

If you enjoy the flavor sensation known as umami (think mushrooms), then pu ehr teas will be your go-to. This tea is unique among other teas in that it can be brewed anywhere from 30 seconds to 30 minutes – flavor notes will be different with longer brewing times but you’ll never experience any bitterness from “overbrewing” – there’s really no such thing with pu ehr.
